Awards

Each year the Mayor of London awards BBP and Green500 members for their efforts and achievements in reducing carbon emissions of the existing property portfolio. Award categories include:

Green Portfolio Award

Awarded to members whose property portfolio’s CO2 performance meets the BBP green benchmark for 2008. This target was set by the BBP Sustainable Benchmarks Working Group which includes industry experts.

Gold Portfolio Award

Awarded to members whose property’s portfolio CO2 performance meets the BBP gold benchmark for 2008. This target was set by the BBP Sustainable Benchmarks Working Group which includes industry experts. The Gold Portfolio Award target is significantly higher that the Green Portfolio Award target.

Building Improvement Award

Awarded to members who have made the greatest improvement to a building to reduce its carbon emissions and environmental impact.

Owner Occupier Partnership Award

Awarded to the best partnership between a BBP member and an/multiple occupier/s who have work in collaboration to reduce carbon emissions and the environmental impact of a building.
