Legal & General Property (LGP) is one of the top three Institutional Property Fund Managers in the UK with £9.8 billion of funds under Management (as at end December 2010) and a 30 year track record operating in commercial real estate. LGP currently manages or co-manages 16 separate funds or vehicles and 2 segregated mandates, comprising 430 properties and 3,400 tenants through a team of 86 real estate specialists, including 40 Fund and Asset managers.
LGP is the property arm of Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM), the Fund Management Company of the FTSE 100 listed Legal & General Group. LGIM is a leading UK Fund Management group, with £342 billion of assets under management (as at end of September 2010). Funds managed by LGIM collectively hold around 5% of the UK stock market.
