AEW UK IM became a signatory to the Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) in 2009 and follows a sustainable and responsible investment (SRI) approach to support long-term value creation.
In collaboration with its Investment Manager and external partners, AEW UK REIT aims to:
- Reduce environmental impact through energy efficiency, greenhouse gas emissions reduction, and waste management initiatives.
- Integrate ESG considerations across the Company’s operations.
- Increase the use of low-carbon and renewable energy sources where feasible.
- Promote ESG+R practices among property managers, leasing agents, and tenants.
- Support the creation of healthy, productive work environments for building occupants.
- Report on ESG+R performance using established frameworks such as GRESB, TCFD, and EPRA.
- Maintain governance practices aligned with relevant codes and regulatory frameworks.
