DESIGN & DELIVERY

To ensure that design solutions and construction delivery meet the occupier’s and owner’s requirements agreed during Engagement & Agreement, a clear and concise Requirements Brief should be prepared and provided to both Design Team and Contractor. This phase will be overseen by a Project Team with clearly defined roles and responsibilities. Ensuring the right people, with the right experience, are available at the right time is critical to any Project Team Selection.

The process for setting, agreeing and monitoring the design and specification of the fit-out is pivotal to successful delivery. The owner and occupier may therefore consider establishing a formal Design Review & Sign-off process that supports continual dialogue and engagement, when developing the detailed design.
